Conjugation

This tense has given its place to present imperfect. The verbs dâshtan (to have) and budan (to be) are basically, the only verbs that are conjugated in this tense:

The verb budan (to be) has two special forms in present simple: weak which is the form normally used and strong, which is basically used for emphasis:
