Persian prefix na- (ن) and nâ- (نا) are variants of the same prefix. na- attaches to infinitives, stems, etc. and derives words that mean the opposite. Its role is similar to English not as well as prefixes non-, un-, dis- and in- (and its variations: im-, ir-).
